Does chroma.scan upload my photos?
No. Photos are processed locally on your device.
Why does chroma.scan ask for camera access?
Camera access lets you capture a photo and turn it into a color palette.
Why does chroma.scan ask for photo library access?
Photo library access lets you choose an existing photo for palette generation. The app may also ask for add-only access when you save an exported palette image to Photos.
Why does Instagram sharing require Instagram to be installed?
chroma.scan uses Instagram's Stories handoff flow. If Instagram is not installed, the app cannot open Instagram Stories.
Are color names and percentages exact?
No. Color names and palette percentages are approximate and are intended as helpful labels for creative use.
