chroma.scan is designed to turn photos into color palettes on your device. We do not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information from the app.

We do not collect:
Names, email addresses, or account information
Photos, camera captures, or generated palettes
Location data
Analytics or advertising identifiers
Usage analytics, diagnostics, or crash reports directly from the app
Photos and Camera
chroma.scan may ask for permission to use your camera or photo library so you can capture or choose an image for color analysis. Images are processed locally on your device. We do not upload your photos or generated palettes to our servers.
If you choose to save an exported palette, chroma.scan asks for permission to add the image to your photo library.
Sharing to Instagram Stories
If you choose to share an export to Instagram Stories, chroma.scan places the generated story image on the iOS pasteboard and opens Instagram using Instagram's URL scheme.
This action is initiated by you. Once you share content with Instagram, Instagram's own privacy practices apply.
Third-Party Services
chroma.scan does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.
The app includes Instagram Stories sharing support only when you choose to use that feature.
Children's Privacy
chroma.scan is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features or privacy practices change. Any updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
