These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of Metrica Calculator, an iOS app provided by Michael Lee (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using Metrica Calculator, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Apple Standard EULA
Metrica Calculator is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless a separate custom license agreement is provided through App Store Connect.
These Terms supplement Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement will control where required.
App Purpose
Metrica Calculator provides general-purpose unit conversion tools for common metric and imperial measurements, including temperature, weight, distance, height, and length.
The app is provided for convenience and general informational use only.
No Professional or Safety-Critical Use
Metrica Calculator does not provide professional, engineering, medical, financial, legal, scientific, safety, or other specialized advice.
You should not rely on the app as the sole source for any decision where accuracy is important. This includes, without limitation, medical, engineering, construction, aviation, financial, legal, laboratory, industrial, commercial, emergency, or safety-critical uses.
You are responsible for independently verifying any conversion result before relying on it.
Accuracy of Results
We aim to provide useful conversion results, but we do not guarantee that the app, its calculations, labels, units, formatting, or results will always be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.
You are solely responsible for how you use the app and any actions or decisions you take based on information shown in the app.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to use Metrica Calculator only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to reverse engineer or modify it except where legally permitted, or use it in a way that could harm us, other users, Apple, or any third party.
Third-Party Links
The app may include links to external webpages, such as privacy, support, or terms pages. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of third-party websites or services.
Intellectual Property
Metrica Calculator, including its design, interface, text, graphics, icons, software, and other content, is owned by Michael Lee or licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Updates and Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Metrica Calculator at any time, with or without notice.
We are not responsible if the app is unavailable, changes, or no longer supports a particular device, operating system version, feature, or functionality.
No Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metrica Calculator is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, non-infringement, and error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, Metrica Calculator.
This includes, without limitation, damages for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, personal injury, property damage, inaccurate calculations, reliance on conversion results, or other losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to Metrica Calculator will not exceed the amount you paid to download or use the app, if any.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Michael Lee from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of Metrica Calculator after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
